PB Choppers owner/builder, Jim Wubben, came of age during the wild years of the ‘60s, influenced by hard rock, Woodstock, Vietnam and the classic movie “Easy Rider”.
Jim and his friends shared a passion for bikes and spent time searching for ways to make their own look cool without spending a lot of money or ordering parts from catalogs. They believed in using their imaginations to build the bikes of their dreams. In fact, Jim’s first project involved a case of beer, a torch and stick welder along with a garage full of friends. When the sun came up that next morning, Jim had crafted his first custom ride. Many great memories were made at the “Ponderosa”.
Now more than 40 years later, Jim continues to look for unique ways to make his bikes look distinctive with classic lines and easy to find in a full parking lot. Jim’s bikes are hand crafted to meet the highest standards with quality and made in USA materials designed to “fit” the rider and fulfill the vision he or she has of themselves riding off into the sunset.
